Black Cat Skateboard Press

Black Cat Skateboard Press is a passion project of my own. In 2003 i built a basic press in the garage of my family home and pressed a snowboard, the snowboard was rideable but it had many flaws. I wanted to continue on with this creative outlet in a simpler way. Working with wood and glue to make skateboards seemed like a way of achieving this without using such difficult materials. Moving forward to around 2020 i designed this steel skateboard press that would allow for 20+ tons of pressure to be applied to a skateboard mold.. in 2022 the press was welded together and the BlackCat skateboard press was born.
